Trade Tariffs

As most of you have heard, President Trump announced far reaching tariffs on Wednesday, April 2nd, 2025. These include a 25% tariff on imported cars, trucks, and certain parts like engines and transmissions. The exact impact this will have on pricing for passenger vehicles and trucks is hard to predict, but I think it is safe to say that vehicles produced outside of the United States that are not already in dealer inventory will be subject to the 25% tariff. It appears that US built vehicles will be tariffed at a different rate depending on how much content comes from outside the United States.

While not knowing exactly what the price increases will be on vehicles going forward, we want you to know that the Autosaver Group has over 1,300 new vehicles currently in stock that are not subject to the new tariffs. We also have a large selection of preowned vehicles, all of which are tariff free.
